CATRIONA (BDS MSC), GDC 64658

Dental Surgeon

Catriona qualified in December 1989 from Newcastle Upon Tyne University. She also has an MSc in Dental Implantology from the University of Manchester and a diploma in Leadership and Management from the University of Birmingham. In her spare time, Catriona particularly enjoys long distance cycling.

JANE (BDS), GDC 66493

Dental Surgeon

Jane qualified in July 1991 from Glasgow University and has a particular interest in helping nervous patients. She has successfully completed an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Stress Management at Stafford University.
In her spare time, Jane enjoys walking her dogs, running & doing Yoga.

SARAH (BDS MSC), GDC 72020

Dental Surgeon

Sarah joined the team in 2011, having worked around her home town of Burton since her qualification as a dentist in 1996 from the Leeds Dental Institute. She enjoys the variety that working in a general practice offers, and has a Masters Degree in Advanced General Dental Practice. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors and dedicating her spare time to her second job of PA and activities co-ordinator for her busy teenager!

AMANDA, GDC 6307

Hygienist

Amanda qualified in 2003 and joined us in 2005. She is passionate about oral health & believes achieving good oral health is the foundation for general health. Amanda has a soft and gentle approach and believes in putting patients interests first and treating patients as she would a member of her own family.

MARION, GDC 107415

Registered Dental Nurse

Marion started nursing in 1995. She joined the Burton Family Dental Practice in 2000.

CHRISTINE, GDC 107609

Registered Dental Nurse

Christine started nursing and joined us in 2004. She qualified as a Dental nurse in 2006. Christine enjoys spending time with family and painting and decorating.

RACHAEL, GDC 107605

Registered Dental Nurse

Rachael became a member of the Burton Family Dental team in 2004 and qualified as a dental nurse in 2006. A bit of a joker, she can often be heard telling witty one liners to the dentist at chair-side. Outside of work, she enjoys walking and is currently participating in the coast to coast walk from St. Bees Head to Robin Hood’s Bay

CLAIRE, GDC 142833

Business Development Manager

Claire joined the team at Burton Family Dental in 2016 as Business Development Manager. Claire is a qualified dental nurse with post qualifications in Radiography, Oral Health Education, Impression-Taking and Fluoride Application.

She also has a diploma in Leadership & Management, gained during her eight years as a dual-sited practice manager.

In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children, and is a keen football fan.

HOLLIE, GDC 286996

Registered Dental Nurse

Hollie joined the team at Burton Family Dental Centre in 2016. She is looking forward to developing her skills further in the years to come. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and loves watching the latest films at the cinema.

SOPHIE, GDC 313730

Registered Dental Nurse

Sophie joined the team in November 2021 and is now a fully qualified dental nurse, having completed her dental nursing qualification at the end of 2023. In her spare time, she loves to be creative, making textiles pieces and interior decorating.

Registered Dental Nurse

Sara qualified in July 2019 and has worked as a dental nurse in both NHS and private practices, as well as covering as a locum dental nurse across the midlands. She has experience with dental implants and has a passion for oral health education. In her spare time, Sara enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, baking and keeping fit.
